Ecola State Park

Stretching along 9 miles of the coast, this park offers outdoor recreation and sightseeing with hiking trails and wildlife observation.

Hug Point

A hidden gem on the coast, this sandy cove south of Cannon Beach features tide pools and sandstone caves, as well as a seasonal waterfall.

Indian Beach

A secluded beach located within Ecola State Park, this location is one of the best surfing spots along the Oregon coast.​

Spanning 4 miles of temperate coastal rainforest, this park features miles of hiking trails and the popular Short Sand Beach.​

Tide Pools

Check tide charts for low tide! Haystack Rock offers easily accessible viewing, but many of the beaches along the coast feature their own tide pools as well.

Whale Watching

Gray Whales are commonly spotted just off the coast of Cannon Beach. Peak season is during migration periods from mid-March to mid-April and mid-December to mid-January.
